Garbo & Friends have designed quality products for families with children since 2011. In their wallpaper collection Tiny Heroes, the classic patterns of Mares, Fauna and Bows have been customised for walls to give your home a warm atmosphere.

"The patterns in the collection were all inspired by animals and nature, and all the illustrations have their own story. The design process starts with several weeks of reflecting, where I channel my experiences and inspiration into a concept. Based on this, I usually write a story that will later be the starting point for the pattern, and ultimately, what becomes communicated visually," says Susann Karlsson Nemirovsky, Designer and Founder of Garbo & Friends.

It was during a forest walk in the Småland region of Sweden that the colours of the rowan trees and leaves, paired with the animals of the forest, became the inspiration for the Fauna motif. The Mares motif is a tribute to the ocean. It tells a story of discovering sea life for the very first time – with all its vibrant colours and amazing aquatic animals. In the third motif called Bows, playful bows in muted colours reflect the lively imagination and joy of children.

Function and durability was a clear focus in this collaboration, and the Tiny Heroes collection has achieved this through a timeless design that works in any home. That which is classic and timeless becomes naturally sustainable, and therefore, our focus has been on quality, the choice of materials and muted colours.

"Garbo & Friends felt like the natural choice when Photowall wanted to launch a new children's collection because, like us, they are passionate about design and quality. The target group for Tiny Heroes is primarily families around the world who have children, but the wallpapers will also work well in the hallway of a big-city apartment or a summer cottage in the country," says Amber Johnson, Photowall's Product and Design Manager.

The exclusive Tiny Heroes collection is only available at Photowall and consists of three motifs in different colour schemes. All the motifs are available as made-to-measure wallpaper for £29 per square metre.
