Beyond Light – X-ray photographic art

Photowall presents an exciting collaboration with X-ray photographer Albert Koetsier, the artist behind Beyond Light. The expressive collection brings together, for example, filmy green leaves, crisp poppy flowers and cheekily black and white flamingo flowers.

Albert Koetsier’s X-ray photographic art reveals a beauty in things that is usually hidden to the observer. The transparency creates a unique feeling, in which the designs feel crisply filmy and ethereally hovering at the same time. Flowers, plants and marine life are given a whole new dimension in Koetsier’s X-ray interpretations.

Albert Koetsier was born and grew up in the Netherlands, but now lives in the US. His many years’ experience as a radiology technician and his great passion for nature photography have made for a successful combination. He firmly proves that photographic X-ray technology can be used for far more than just medicine and research.

Albert Koetsier’s collection is available as made-to-measure wall murals from Photowall. The collection comprises 19 motifs and costs £29 per square metre. The motifs are also available as canvas prints costing from £20.
