Playlists by Agent Bauer – unique mural collection with a musical theme

Dynamic and bombastic, fragile and ethereal – Photowall’s exclusive collaboration with Agent Bauer illustrators covers a wide spectrum of different shapes and styles. Innovative design with musical accompaniment.

With the Playlists by Agent Bauer collection, Photowall adds a further element to the design process – music. Five illustrators from the Stockholm-based agency Agent Bauer interpret their favourite songs with their own individual design style.

“Like art, music is a universal language, and we wanted to see how five of Sweden’s best illustrators would interpret music that means something to them. Each design in the collection gains a deeper import when you add a sense. Study the design while listening to the music which that particular illustrator has interpreted, and that’s when things really start happening. We’ve essentially taken a whole new direction in what is quite a traditional industry,” says Niklas Johansson, a co-founder of Photowall.

The collection includes everything from graphically abstract patterns and hand-painted oak forests, to floral watercolours. The five talented illustrators who have each designed a wall mural are: Martin Bergström, Clara Aldén, Graham Samuels, Maja Sten and Cecilia Carlstedt.

“We represent a strong stable of fantastic illustrators, and it’s great to be able to show off their sheer range in a creative, innovative context like this,” says Nicole Rovan, Illustrator Agent at Agent Bauer.

Playlists by Agent Bauer is available exclusively from Photowall and comprises five motifs. All the motifs can be ordered to size and cost £32 per square metre. They are also available as canvas prints costing from £22.
