This year marks the 65th anniversary of the publication of Tove Jansson’s first book about the Moomins. Since then, tales about Moomintroll and the other inhabitants of Moominvalley, including Little My, Snork Maiden, the Hattifatteners, Snufkin, Moominpappa and Moominmamma and many more, have become hugely popular among young and old readers alike. The illustrations created by Tove Jansson are just as well-loved, with their beautiful, brightly coloured and memorable motifs.
