The MOU states that Plantagon and the University will cooperate regarding research on town-planning issues. Plantagon and Tongji will also cooperate regarding how to integrate Urban Agriculture in the local neighborhood.

Plantagon is endorsing partner of Resilient Cities 2012, 3rd Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation from 12 to 15 May 2012 in Bonn, Germany.

Resilient Cities 2012, 3rd Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation
Continuing the journey towards a more sustainable and resilient urban future, ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability together with the City of Bonn and the World Mayors Council on Climate Change is hosting Resilient Cities 2012, 3rd Global Forum on Urban Resilience and Adaptation from 12 to 15 May 2012 in Bonn, Germany, preceding and during the UN Bonn climate talks scheduled for 14-25 May 2012.
Resilient Cities 2012 will enhance exchange, learning, networking, debate and policy development on approaches and solutions to climate change for cities and municipalities. As the largest gathering of major actors in the urban adaptation and resilience field, the congress is the premier opportunity to network with the world’s adaptation and resilience experts.
Representatives from local governments, UN and international agencies, governments, finance institutions, insurance sector, urban infrastructure industry and non-governmental organizations will meet with planners and researchers, consultants and academics to discuss and share the state-of-the-art programs and the most recent results in the field of urban adaptation and resilience.

The commercial area in the backbone of the Greenhouse building will be constructed in an equally sustainable way in terms of energy efficiency, materials and hi-tech solutions. This is the type to be built in Linköping.
