Majestic Wine chooses Prostate Cancer UK as Charity of the Year 2015

Majestic Wine employees have voted for men’s health charity, Prostate Cancer UK, as their Charity of the Year 2015 to help more men survive prostate cancer and enjoy a better quality of life.

The aim of the partnership is to raise funds in order to help the charity provide vital support and information to men and their families, and find answers by funding research into causes and treatments.

One man dies every hour of prostate cancer in the UK, and 1 in 8 men will develop the disease. It is currently the most common cancer in men in the UK, but is predicted to become the most common cancer overall in the UK by 2030.

As part of the partnership, Majestic Wine staff will be uncorking their support by engaging in the charity’s Men United campaign. A series of in-store initiatives are being planned while collection tins will be at cashpoints.
