Q-Park UK announced as an Engagement & Loyalty Awards Finalist

The Engagement and Loyalty Awards 2016 celebrates the innovators and leaders creating quality customer engagement and loyalty. As a result it will be the first time Q-Park will be against other big brands such as Aldi UK, Superdrug and Hotel.com. The judging panel has also attracted leading professionals from Virgin Money to TheTrainline.com to pick the winners.

Since the launch, the app has had over 25,000 downloads. Q-Park introduced the new loyalty app enabling customers to find a Q-Park car park in over 50 locations across the UK by GPS navigation. Another key popular function is that customers can park, scan and claim the free 6th parking visit which is ideal for frequent parkers. The app includes 150 unique partner discounts at local retailer or restaurant which helps to save even more within the city.

John Denton, Head of Sales and Marketing at Q-Park commented “We are thrilled to be shortlisted for a number of awards. The digital age has introduced a wave of tools and we are determined to lead the market in technical innovation. We have been able to bring to the market Q-Park Rewards which combines parking, partnerships, customer rewards and savings all in the one app which will add to an unrivalled parking experience. Our aim is also to generate relationships with business to help generate footfall into the area which is key for growth.”

The winners will be announced at the Engagement & Loyalty Awards gala dinner and ceremony on 19th May 2016, at the Millennium Hotel Mayfair, London.

Mark Evans, Publishing Director ‘A surge in entries this year is a reflection of the growing influence and importance of the fast developing world of engagement and loyalty, where the transactional customer is being replaced by the avocational customer. Congratulations to all organisations that made the shortlist. Those who did not quite make the list can still feel pride in putting themselves forward, knowing that they were up against some very powerful entries. Thank you all for entering, and making these awards possible’.
