Mayoress unveils Rochdale's new look M&S store
Rochdale’s M&S opened its doors this morning after a £500,000 revamp.
The Mayoress, Monica Rush, along with Council Leader Colin Lambert and Chief Executive, Jim Taylor joined the M&S team as they celebrated their new store with food, drink and competitions.
Store Manager, Nick Bluer, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled with our new store and would like to thank the council and Rochdale Development Agency for their continued support through initiatives such as the free shuttle bus.
“There’s a lot of regeneration going on in Rochdale, so we wanted to invest heavily in our store to show people that we are serious about being part of this vision for a new and improved town centre.”
