Lily McKenzie's releases self-produced Sunlight EP

Following the release of her debut EP 'Support Machine' in 2014, UK singer-songwriter and pianist Lily McKenzie debuts new track 'Sunlight', taken from her new, self-produced EP of the same name. New single Sunlight smacks of Summer nights, with Lily's smooth R&G production hinting at the bass music she grew up with in South London. Lily has collaborated with producers and artists such as Breakage, Wiley, Brackles and Falty DL to name a few. More recently she appeared on 'Shelter' by Spectrasoul and the Breakage record 'Stolen' on Digital Soundboy album 'When The Night Comes'. Her debut release in late 2013 'Where I Belong' was supported by Notion, Earmilk and SBTV amongst others. And 2014's Support Machine was labeled 'sultry, soulful UK Garage' b y Clash and supported strongly by Radio 1Xtra. In particular the lead track of the same name, featuring Giggs, was also a Record of the Day pick. Lily McKenzie has had a passion for singing and song writing from the early age of 7, when she would write songs accompanying herself on her first instrument, the piano. The former Brit School student has honed her craft and sound on this record, using elements of acoustic piano & minimal electronic. Now self-producing she is proud to release his EP.
