Scrive celebrates 1 million documents signed, on Earth Day.

Scrive, a tech startup based in Stockholm and the Nordic market leader in e-signing, is proud to announce — on Earth Day — that their customers have signed 1 million digital documents, using Scrive’s electronic signing services. That represents 10’s of millions of paper pages that never had to be printed; a major contribution to the global celebration of the environment: #EarthDay

Following coverage last week about Scrive tripling their revenue, this new milestone adds more evidence of the company’s rapid growth. Founded in 2010 by CEO Lukas Duczko, it took 6 years to reach a million documents, however Scrive currently handles about 100,000 documents per month. That number is now growing by 10% every 30 days, which is referred to as “hyper growth” among Silicon Valley tech investors.

"This is an important milestone for us. It took a long time to get here but now growth is really picking up. Everybody is talking digital transformation nowadays and its definitely noticeable in the number of incoming leads we are getting,” says Duczko.

April 22 is also Earth Day, a global media event and social movement, led by organisers at www.earthday.org.

The theme of Earth Day 2016 is “Trees for the Earth” which makes it especially meaningful for Scrive—a service that replaces paper transactions. Since each Scrive document can include many pages, and a copy would otherwise be printed for each person signing, Scrive’s milestone of 1 million documents actually represents 10’s of millions of pages of saved paper.
