Scrive wins Avanza Bank as a customer

Scrive, which offers e-signing of proposals, contracts, and other types of documents, has become a service provider to Avanza Bank.

Lukas Duczko, CEO of Scrive, believes the deal is important for the whole market. "Avanza Bank tends to be first, then the rest follow. All banks and most large companies we meet run projects to implement e-signing in their processes. Meanwhile, most are bogged down because they want to do everything themselves and they underestimate the difficulties."

"We fell for Scrive because they had the most modern service and it could be in place in just one month," says Ronnie Bodinger, IT manager at Avanza Bank.

Avanza starts with e-signing of their account contracts, but the plan is that most agreements will eventually be signed electronically using Scrive.

"When we were considering various solutions it was important to find a broad solution in which we could grow," says Ronnie Bodinger.

The e-signing trend is not just a Swedish phenomenon. Several European countries are far along. In the U.S. several companies have received substantial investments and every day hundreds of thousands of documents are signed electronically. Lukas Duczko credits increased competition and spread of the internet for the increased international focus on e-signing. "It is no longer ok to make customers hassle, otherwise they choose to go elsewhere."

The deal was made in collaboration with Logica, with which Scrive maintains a close cooperation. "We think Scrive is an exciting partner. It´s a young company that stirs up the e-signing market with new, innovative solutions," says Petter Dahl, director of Logica's e-legitimation portal.
