Seat of Judgment - Premiere announced but there is a Twist

After an extended period of post production, this long awaited feature film which was originally scheduled for release back in February 2014 will now finally make its premiere screening in December 2016.

Synopsis: Lionel Ravensthorpe is a clandestine businessman who is seized and subjected to an unusual form of interrogation. Is Lionel really one of the world's most powerful individuals? Can he convince his mild mannered abductor to help him regain his liberty, or does his captor have a more sinister motive?

Very much a vanity project, Showstorm has been so overwhelmed with other projects, that since filming wrapped well over two years ago, frustratingly the post production has continually had to take a back burner.

Mark Bellinger, Showstorm's MD said "This was always meant to be a completely in house production so I never really wanted to have anyone else working on it, but I am now completely committed to finishing before the end of this year"

As with any great film there is a twist to the story, but maybe the bigger twist is the story behind the story.

Like many people who love film they often become eager to write their own screenplay, Mark finished writing his and then decided that selling it wasn't really a motivating factor, after all, even if someone bought it it doesn't mean it was going to get made.

This sparked and idea, so after a couple of rewrites to the original script, Mark decided to embark on a challenge to see if it was possible for him to also film, act, edit, score and produce and entire film by himself.

Mark said "I already know the answer to the question of what parts of film production I definitely wouldn't do again myself in future, it has been challenging, which was the whole point, the only question left for me is not, can I do it? but will I produce a piece of work I can be proud of?"

The answer to that question is coming in December 2016
