Peter Carlsson, former CPO Tesla, delivers key note at the Corporate Financial Supply Chain Innovations Eventin Greater Copenhagen April 26-27, 2016.

Peter Carlsson adds: “At The Talent Show I will share my experiences from building up a supply chain from scratch under significant time and capital constraints. This forced us to find new solutions and designs and think out-of-the-box. Many times we had to find groundbreaking solutions. Our work was supported by Tesla’s unique innovative and creative DNA.”

The Talent Show is a corporate driven event, focusing on “supply chain finance” in a corporate context (as opposed to a bank perspective). The Show focuses on the whole ”Corporate Financial Supply Chain” (CFSC) and how it links to the physical chain. The CFSC must become much more efficient and learn from lean six sigma etc. The Talent Show has an audience that consists of CFO and CPO offices, supply chain, treasurers, IT and similar roles in the largest companies. When we learn to master the CSFC we will be able to develop our business, add revenue streams and competitiveness.

About Peter Carlsson

Peter Carlsson has served as Vice President of Supply Chain at Tesla Motors, Inc from early 2011 to recent. Peter joined Tesla from NXP Semiconductors, based in Singapore, where he was responsible for purchasing and outsourcing. As CPO, he took the purchase organization from a tactical decentralized structure to a strategic global commodity organization. He served as CPO at Sony Ericsson. He held a total of 13 years’ experience from different roles with Ericsson and Sony Ericsson in Sweden and the US. He led the team that built and implemented Ericsson’s framework for Supplier Quality Assurance. He is currently member of the board of Metso (Mining), Ketra lightning (High tech), Orbital systems (Cleantech), Rosti (Plastics) and Q-group (IT). He is executive advisor to Elementum SCM, Inc. (IT) and co-founder of Turnpike (High tech). Mr. Carlsson has a Master’s degree with specialization in Production and Quality Control from Luleå Technical University in Sweden.
