Skansen continues to be one of the most popular tourist attractions in Stockholm, in 2011
Skansen had over 1,400 000 visitors. 121 years this year, the open-air museum
was the first one in the world to open in 1891. National holidays are traditionally celebrated here every year but Skansen offer a lot of other fun activities during the year – enough to spend a whole day on site.
