The Printer´s house at Skansen was refurbished in 2012 and now shows the home of a modern young couple from the 1840´s. It is furnished in the late empire style in pale birch and dark, polished mahogany. An upholstered sofa and armchairs, together with a sofa table, is part of a new trend in interior design, and the thin white curtains are the latest fashion. Photo: Ola Högberg.

Every autumn the bears eat a lot, grow fatter and fatter and finally starts to get very sleepy. At the end of November they go to bed in their dens and wake up again in March.
