Nov 25, 2010 09:00 GMT St. Lucy, or Lucia as she is known here, is celebrated in Sweden in December. Every year a Lucia is chosen by popular vote, and the winning candidate is crowned on the 4th December by a celebrity and then returns to Skansen with her retinue for the traditional celebration on the Solliden stage on the 13th December.
Nov 23, 2010 12:30 GMT It´s time for the traditional Chirstmas market at Skansen in Stockholm. The stalls are filled with goods, and the tables set for dinner. With luck we may be also be able to enjoy Skansen at its winter peak under a covering of pristine snow. The mood of cheerful expectation in these unique surroundings makes for an unforgettable experience!
