Portsmouth Entrepreneurs Launch a Greeting Card Company with a Difference

Local entrepreneurs Chris Webb and Lisa Fay have launched an online company which not only reminds you when to send your greeting cards, they actually send you the card along with a stamped and addressed envelope ready for you to add your personal message and drop back in the post.

Despite their application for funding being rejected by the Solent LEP the couple forged ahead and successfully launched www.SmartSenda.com on Thursday 11^th October.

Lisa Fay, Creative Director, SmartSenda Ltd, said “We have worked really hard on the company for almost a year and we are delighted that our efforts are being so well received. Chris is in full time employment and I am a full time Mum so there have been lots of late nights and good time management has been crucial.”

Chris Webb, Co-Founder, SmartSenda Ltd, said “We have had lots of interest in our site already, we have established a charity partnership, over 1000 people have joined us on Twitter and social media seems to be buzzing with news of the launch.
