STANLEY® holds it together with a new range of FatMax® trigger clamps

STANLEY® has introduced a new and improved range of FatMax® trigger clamps for professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. Easy to operate, and engineered to hold stronger for longer*, the range spans from an Extra Large model (with class-leading clamping force) for heavy-duty applications, to a Small-sized clamp, for more delicate craft and hobby tasks such as model-making.

A high leverage handle design with a steel core** delivers a force of up to 270kg, for stronger clamping, while a reinforced ribbed nylon body helps maintain the load for consistent, longer-lasting performance.During testing over a 24-hour period, the new FatMax®Extra Large trigger clamp held 24% stronger than the previous equivalent FatMax® clamp, and maintained a higher clamping force for longer.

Steel I-beam ‘backbone’ bar lengths, which measure 150mm-1250mm on the Extra Large clamp, 150mm-900mm on the Large, 150mm-300mm on the Medium, and 110mm on the Small product, cover a wide variety of applications.

The Extra Large clamp features a die-cast ergonomic trigger for the hassle-free release of high clamping forces, as well as reversible jaws for spreading applications. The Extra large and Large models also benefit from a push button jaw release for fast tool-free conversion to a spreading tool, while the others can be converted manually. Removable deep and soft jaw pads safeguard against workpiece damage, and feature a grooved design for improved grip of round objects and corners, such as dowels or beading.

The new STANLEY® FatMax® trigger clamps are available in sizes Extra Large, Large, Medium and Small, with bar lengths spanning 110mm to 1250mm, depending on the model.

The new STANLEY® FatMax® Extra Large trigger clamps are available at your local trade outlets. The new STANLEY® FatMax® Small, Medium and Large trigger clamps are available exclusive to B&Q.
