Cruise into a night of entertainment with Stena Line

THE Irish Sea will be alive with the sound of music and laughter in the run up to Christmas as leading ferry company Stena Line has announced a range of entertainment cruises onboard the Stena Superfast to liven up the festive period.

For just £29, including dinner and a free £5 shopping voucher, music lovers can spend their Christmas night out or office party dancing their way to Scotland and back to a series of star-studded tribute acts which span the decades including homages to Swedish foursome Abba and the king of rock and roll Elvis Presley.

Abba Revival was recently voted the UK’s No1 tribute act and they have toured all over the world from Europe to the Middle East, while soulful singer Ciaran Houlihan is well known in the UK as an award winning Elvis tribute act.

Also performing on board will be Northern Ireland’s very own James Peake and his band, a much sought after five piece group from Belfast, renowned for their energetic and engaging performances.

Diane Poole OBE, Stena Line’s Head of PR and Communications, explains why a Stena Line entertainment cruise is the perfect Christmas night out.

“In the run-up to Christmas, people are always looking for something a little bit different to help kick start their festive season,” said Diane. “Our popular Stena Line entertainment cruises fit the bill perfectly and offer groups of friends or work colleagues a great night out on the Irish Sea.

“With award-winning tributes to Abba and Elvis, and local singer James Peake performing a wide range of hits from the likes of Meatloaf, Tom Jones and Pavarotti, there should really be something to suit all musical tastes and keep people dancing all the way to Scotland and back,” she added.

“What’s more, at just £29 with dinner included AND a free £5 shopping voucher to help get the Christmas shopping started, the cruises offer great value at a time when every penny counts,” concluded Diane.

Fans can sing along to Waterloo and Winner Takes It All at the Abba entertainment cruise on November 28 or 29 or get All Shook Up singing Viva Las Vegas at the Elvis cruise on December 12 or 13. James Peake and his band will take the stage on December 5.
