Gimme five … and i’ll give you a day trip to Dublin

Stena Line’s £5 per person return day trip to Dublin is making waves with people in North Wales!

You can depart Holyhead at 8.55am, spend a little time in Dublin, and return to Holyhead on the 3.10pm ferry. Or if you want longer in Ireland you can depart at 8.55am from Holyhead, enjoy a full afternoon and early evening in Dublin, returning on the 8.40pm sailing. Both options cost £5* per person return every Tuesday or £10* per person return on a Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The great-value price means that a day trip to Dublin is affordable for thousands of couples and families across North Wales and as Stena Line’s amazing ships have more things to do than you can shake a shillelagh stick at, it’ll be a fiver well spent.

Diane Poole said: “Staggering! Unbelievable! Just some of the words our customers have used to describe our £5 per person return day trip fare to Dublin. For families, groups, couples, with an eye on the holiday budget this £5 fare is fantastic as it means everyone can get away for the day and enjoy a quality trip across the Irish Sea.

“What does a fiver get you these days? You wouldn’t get much change from a return ticket to a seaside town or from a visit to the cinema and anyway you get to watch the latest blockbuster films for free onboard in our very own cinema. But the same £5 gets you to Dublin and back for an adventure the kids can tell all their mates about but more importantly everyone gets to spend the day together having a ball in Ireland!”

Children love the thrill of a journey by ferry as they aren’t confined to a small space and a tiny seat. There are safe-play areas and kids’ fun zones where children sometimes spend the whole journey. And between July, 17 and September, 6, Stena Line has some fantastic things to keep the kids entertained on selected sailings including a meet and greet by the entertainers, colourful art and design sessions, hilarious puppet shows, exciting games and fun competitions.

Diane continued: “When you travel with Stena Line there are no fun-sapping long queues at check-in and there are many places to explore onboard, a fabulous array of dining options, great value meal deals, free blockbuster movies and free WiFi.”

There is up to 50% off lots of quality lines when compared to the high street in the bargain-filled onboard shop. There is a value meal deal for families for only £25, which gets you any 2 adult meals, up to 3 kids’ meals and up to 5 hot/cold drinks** (**excluding alcohol, subject to availability).
