Music to your ears onboard Stena Line

THIS summer, Stena Line will re-introduce its popular Stena Line Sessions onboard entertainment series, where upcoming singers and musicians from all over Northern Ireland showcase their talent as they sail across the Irish Sea.

Acts performing at the Stena Line Sessions, which will take place on the Belfast to Liverpool and Belfast to Cairnryan routes include Stevie Russell, a popular singer-songwriter influenced by the sounds of Bruce Springsteen and Tom Petty; Leah Jordan who plays everything from Eva Cassidy to Marina and the Diamonds; and Sammy Stevenson who is returning from last year’s successful run.

Orla Noonan, Travel Commercial Manager (Irish Sea North), explains why everyone should keep an ‘ear’ out for the return of Stena Line Sessions.

“After last year’s fantastic variety of performers and the great feedback we received from passengers, we can’t wait for the return of these events, which add even further to our customers’ enjoyment whilst onboard. The Stena Line Sessions provides a platform for talented, undiscovered musicians and allow passengers to kick back and relax in the comfortable surroundings of a Stena Line ferry whilst listening to the incredibly talented musicians.

“As with last year, there will be a wide variety of singers and bands, with pop, rock, country and indie all represented, and even a three-piece Cajun group who play everything from Michael Jackson to Guns’n’Roses!” continued Orla.

The acts will perform at weekends starting on 30th June until 3rd September.
