Happy Birthday to HRH the Duchess of Cambridge as she celebrated her 35^th birthday earlier this month. We wonder what Kate Middleton had planned for the special occasion? It’s got us thinking about how she could celebrate here at Stoke Park.

There is no better excuse for Afternoon Tea with Champagne than on your birthday. Executive Chef Chris Wheeler and his team would treat you a truly indulgent choice of delicately hand-made Sandwiches, Cakes and Scones topped off with deliciously whipped Clotted Cream and Jams. And whilst the bubbles would be flowing, a wide range of Teas and Coffees is also available to complement the sweet treats.

Our luxury bedrooms and suites are the perfect place to be whisked away to for a romantic birthday break. Every room has an invitingly large bed, pristine en-suite marble bathrooms and complementary facilities to make your stay extra special. Just imagine a stay in ‘The Pennsylvania’ Executive Suite; the very room where Reneé Zellweger and Hugh Grant spent a romantic night together in Bridget Jones Diary. This traditional room within the Palladian Mansion has a four poster bed, a roaring open fire and a south- facing balcony with a view of the sweeping parkland, lakes and even out to Windsor Castle. If this isn’t enough to satisfy a Prince or Princess, every guest is also welcomed to use our fantastic health facilities, book golf and tennis tuition with the resident professionals or personal training sessions with our qualified trainers.

It wouldn’t be a birthday without a present or two. We all know the Royal family enjoys watching a game of tennis, with their annual presence in the Royal Box at The Championships, Wimbledon. Here at Stoke Park, each year we play host to our very own tennis Championship, The Boodles which invites the world’s best players to warm up for Wimbledon and entertain our guests within the intimate stadium of 2000 seats.
