Synergy SKY Platform Not Impacted by ShellShock Bash bug

You may have heard about a new security vulnerability called Shellshock, affecting the internet community, that was discovered this Tuesday, September 23, 2014. There's a New York Times article that describes what Shellshock is, and how it was discovered.

We wanted to make the statement that this vulnerability does not affect the Synergy SKY platform, or any of the data that is secured in our customers’ databases. Although our systems are not directly using the pieces of technology that are affected by this vulnerability, we are constantly monitoring the situation in order to keep our systems and our customers’ data iron-clad secure.

If any of our existing or prospective customers have any questions on this, we’ll be happy to answer via video or email.
