Tahola Apprenticeship Program 2018

This year Tahola has implemented a new IT apprenticeship program, we started recruiting for the program towards the end of last year (2017) and now have two apprentices currently in place on the 21 month long 'Data Analyst Programme'.

There were a number of reasons why we decided to start an apprenticeship programme, but first and foremost we saw it as a great opportunity to bring new talent into the organisation. It also provided us with a solution, that meant we could develop new talent to meet our specific business needs, whilst also giving young people career opportunities.

Offering young people apprenticeships gives Tahola the chance to play an active role in moulding our future workforce and creating the future skills needed to help the business grow. By making the commitment to offer apprenticeships, we also feel we are demonstrating strong employee loyalty; and by investing in apprentices’ careers we increase our chances of up-skilling within the company ensuring we maintain highly skilled staff.

After careful consideration we made the decision to work with QA Apprenticeships for our new programme, as they specialise in IT placements and have over 30 years experience in IT training to craft apprenticeships, that deliver job specific skills.

We are excited about our new IT apprenticeship program and look forward to what the future holds for both Tahola as an organisation and all of the apprentices we take on board.
