Tailor Store wins silver in Barcelona

At the annual conference Global e-commerce Summit, which took place in Barcelona this year from 23rd to 25th of May, Europe's best e-commerce was awarded yesterday evening. Swedish contestant Tailor Store from Helsingborg received an honourable second place. The winner is thomann.de from Germany and third place went to the Danish company nemlig.com. To stimulate e-commerce all over Europe, each country nominated their best e-business which then competed against other in Europe and presented their company for the jury. Tailor Store represented Sweden after having been awarded Sweden's Best e-commerce business by the organisation Svensk Distanshandel in November 2010.
The jury emphasized the importance of Tailor Store's concept which meets their customers' needs by providing them with a garment that they designed themselves, the company offers a unique solution. Also noted was the large responsibility that Tailor Store is taking through their GOTS certificate and further commitment to the local area on Sri Lanka where all the garments are produced in their own factory with 430 employees.
Tailor Store even was awarded Sweden's Best e-commerce business by the organisation Svensk Handel and trade press Dagens Handel at the Retail Awards 2011 in March in Stockholm earlier this year.
