100th edition of Tour de France starts with TeXtreme® victory

The 100th edition of the world’s most famous bicycle competition started on the 29th of June in Porto Vecchio, France, and resulted with a victory in the first stage for rider Marcel Kitten. Kitten competes for Team Argos Shimano that uses a frame from Felt Bicycles built using TeXtreme® Spread Tow carbon fabrics.

Alongside the total victory Team Argos Shimano rider Marcel Kittel using a frame from Felt Bicycles built using TeXtreme® finished the Tour as he started it, by winning. In total Marcel Kittel won four stages.

Kemo Bikes release frame featuring TeXtreme® Technology

Kemo Bikes showcased their new range of road bikes on the Eurobike show in Friedrichshafen, Germany, for the first time. The top of the line frame model KE-R8 5KS is built using TeXtreme® Spread Tow carbon fabrics. By using the TeXtreme® Technology Kemo have realized a bike with excellent properties in stiffness compared to the low weight at 759 grams.
