New Site for Bloggers Pays Cash for Articles

A new blogging site has been launched in the UK which allows bloggers, journalists and writers to write what they want when they want – and get paid for the privilege.

Thedailyheckle.net is a blog with a difference, as it gives writers the platform from which to write opinionated, controversial posts on anything from politics to movies.

All writers must register on the site before being granted access to the platform, and acceptance as a paid writer is granted to those who successfully complete a 300-word writing sample. Writers can then ‘pitch’ their ideas to an editor, who will give the go-ahead, ask for modifications or reject the proposal outright.

Writers will be paid on a per article basis, which will be paid monthly into a Skrill account. There is also the chance for writers (or Hecklers) to earn cash bonuses for specific submissions, or for meeting tight deadlines. As well as the cash incentive offered by The Daily Heckle, writers are given the chance to link back to their own profiles, portfolios and websites.

Malcolm Cox is the man behind The Daily Heckle, and he believes this new platform is giving amateur bloggers a fantastic opportunity.

“Blogging is still in its infancy, and many people want to try it but simply don’t have the confidence. The Daily Heckle is all about giving bloggers support and guidance. We offer help with material, grammar and punctuation, but we let the bloggers take their own path.

“We want bloggers to really express their views and thoughts, no matter how controversial they happen to be. And I believe that this new platform is perfect for doing just that. Because we are all pulling together, sharing each other’s work and promoting The Daily Heckle, we are amplifying our readership – which is perfect for someone with no following, just starting their blogging career.”

The Daily Heckle is accepting writer applications now, and editors aim to approve or reject them within 24 hours. Once approved, writers can log in to the system with a unique username and password, and can write and submit as many articles as they wish – as long as they have been approved by an editor in advance.

Writers are then encouraged to promote their own work on social media platforms, as the more views their work receives, the more money they’ll earn.
