Press release -

GIRLGUIDING UK AND THE GOOD AGENCY AWARDED BEST NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATE PUBLICATION BY CORPCOMMS

Fundraising and campaigning communication specialists, The Good Agency produced the report concept, design and a how-to guide enabling Girlguiding UK to build the interactive elements and send the report live.

The report was shortlisted in August and the accolade awarded over WWF-UK’s Action Magazine by Neo Communications, the Ministry of Defence’s Soldier and Coller Institute of Private Equity’s Private Equity Findings by Bladenmore.

Donna Holland, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Girlguiding UK says “We wanted to show all the incredible work our volunteers have put into celebrating our Centenary year in a creative, interactive and engaging impact report and having worked with The Good Agency previously, I knew they could deliver. Not only did they product excellent strategy and wonderful creative they did it all on an incredibly conservative budget.”

Reuben Turner, Creative Director, The Good Agency, adds, “We believe Impact Reports should be as interesting, interactive and exciting as any other project –they don’t have to be expensive, time-consuming and paper-heavy. It’s always a pleasure working with organisations like Girlguiding UK who believe the same.”

This is the second award Donna Holland has won with The Good Agency, having previously collaborated on an annual report for charity, Missing People. The highly visual and impact led report was awarded a Third Sector Excellence Award in 2009. To view the report, visit: http://cde.cerosmedia.com/1C4981dfac0f218012.cde

Over a third of girls and young women (aged 7-21) in the UK are involved in guiding, or have been in the past. They run Rainbows (5-7 years), Brownies (7-10 years), Guides (10-14 years) and Senior Section (14-25 years), enabling girls and young women to develop their potential whatever their ability or background. We are striving to offer new opportunities to a broad diversity of communities through our expanding network of over 61,000 trained volunteer Leaders.

Girlguiding UK seek to give girls a voice and provide a unique, girl-only space where they feel comfortable just being themselves. Members, challenged by a girl-led programme that extends beyond badges, enjoy a spectrum of activities from international travel and outdoor adventure to pop-concerts and community action.
