Scandinavian Airlines, Europe’s most punctual airline

During 2011, SAS saw an improvement of their brand index, with it rising higher than any other major company in the same industry. YouGov, a pioneer of online market research, gave SAS an increase of 3.7 points on their brand index scale which measures the brand perception amongst the public.

According to Ulf Hermansson Samell, Marketing Manager at SAS, the significant increase was largely due to the combination of flights arriving on time, simple information and effective advertising. Previously, the punctuality of the flights operated by SAS was not deemed to be satisfactory by their customers. By winning the prize for the most punctual airline company in Europe for the third consecutive year, SAS have proven to their consumers that their feedback is taken seriously.
