#Simonsays…The final push

With six days left until Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, our galvanized granddad Simon Marchant is battling on:

“6 days to go! Training hard this week, out every morning by 7am in cool sunshine for 20 - 25 miles.

“Harvesting the barley has started, so each day I see more freshly cut fields. I have watched them change from green to gold over the past months, and now they will soon be ploughed over.

“My friend Martin scoured the OS map for a nice hill for me, So kind! Went up it twice today, to this mantra:

"The friend who recommended Kedington Hill

Needs his head looking into, and I'll foot the bill”
