Jon Bragg commented “the new product ranges have far exceeded any of their expectations and I have to say a lot of that is down to Gareth and his team. I can’t wait to discuss the new ideas we have with him”.

Puréety Gourmet Flavours have worked with major UK retailers since its inception by Chef Gareth Pearson in 2009. Gareth, who was part of the team that earned celebrity Chef Nigel Howarth a Michelin star, has been cleverly carving out a niche as a creative supplier ever since. Whilst being best known to date for its 20 minute marinades and ultimate potato seasoning, the company’s innovative approach to staple classics has helped them make a name for themselves with the main national retail buyers. It is also quickly earning a reputation for delivering a diverse range of new products to the desired standard of the nationals via its Turnkey Solutions, servicing both ends of the retail spectrum.

Gareth Pearson, Managing Director of Puréety Gourmet Flavours added “We have always been accomplished at getting our products or private label products onto the retailers’ shelves, as well as creating great tasting recipes, innovative packaging and managing the project and back end ordering systems; so when a client asked if we could help them with their products we thought yes, why not? Since then we have launched our full turnkey solutions service beyond our client base. New clients and manufacturers are now coming to us that have a fantastic idea or potential within their site for a new retail product then we can literally develop and produce the recipe, create and design the pack format and shelf ready packaging, pack and palletise the product, warehouse the completed goods, organise and manage the supply chain, sales and distribution and even take it to market to the national wholesalers & retailers. All they have to do is have the initial idea or manufacturing capabilities that we understand and feel right and that fits into the market place and we look after the rest.

Notes to Editors:

Puréety Gourmet Foods was established in 2009 by former Executive Development Chef Gareth Pearson.

It started from his kitchen table with his own creative blend of innovative recipes to provide something new in the market place that would instantly add a depth of flavour to well-known and easy to cook dishes. The concept being to make life easier at meal times.

The company has grown year on year since 2009 and now has a multimillion pound turnover and a host of well know national, regional and local retailers as its clients. It moved offices in 2014 to accommodate new staff members to help manage the ongoing growth of the company.

Gareth Pearson, the Managing Director, was the youngest pastry Chef ever to be part of the team that saw Nigel Haworth awarded a Michelin star when he was at the age of just 19, following on from his success at age 18 when he was awarded Student Chef of Europe.

Gareth has been a key Executive Development Chef to leading national companies earning a reputation for high standards within the industry.
