“The Perfect Getaway” Contest Winner Announced

Arthur Bacchusfrom South Africa has been named the winner of Thule´s European photo competition The Perfect Getaway. The Perfect Getaway is a competition designed for bike lovers of all types to compete with their most inspirational bike pictures in relation to “what inspires you just to get away”.

The Perfect Getaway started on19 March, 2014, together with Thule Crew members Chris Van Dine and Tim Johnson, who have been sharing their favorite trails and bike routes from all over the world. Participants have joined the competition by uploading their perfect Getaway-related photos to Instagram and tagged them with the hash-tag “thulegetaway”

“We have had 745 entries in the competition, sent in from all over the world, which is a great success. We are truly amazed of how many great cyclists and photographers there are out there on the road, track or bike park” says Samuel Silverudd, Marketing Manager.

Winner of the competition, Arthur Bacchus, has won a Trek bike worth €1,000 and a full set of Thule bike products, including the award winning Thule Pack ‘n Pedal line of on-bike racks and panniers.
