Thule Motion 800 and Thule Excellence XT achieve winning positions in the Test by Auto Zeitung

In this year’s roof box test in Auto Zeitung, Thule Motion 800 and Thule Excellence XT have been chosen as the two top models: the Thule Motion 800 winning 1st place followed by the Thule Excellence XT taking second place. The Thule products emphatic victory over all others tested was largely due to the flawless roof installation, drivability and ease of using the boxes.
 
Thule has been a pioneer in the production of roof boxes for more than four decades. The key criteria in this market segment are: value, quality, efficiency, safety and design. The test by the Auto Zeitung, one  of Germanys leading motor magazines, confirms once again that Thule is at the forefront of design and innovation – the top two models of this year’s test where the Thule Motion 800 and the Thule Excellence XT.

Both the spacious Thule Motion 800 and the sporty Thule Excellence XT are equipped with the intuitive quick mounting system ‘Power-Click’, with integrated torque indicator for easy and secure fixation with a single-handed grip. The Thule patented Dual-Side opening, enabling the box to be opened from both sides of the roof, has been explicitly praised by testers.

The Thule Excellence XT includes other smart features such as the innovative cargo securing method with an anti-slip floor mat and a cargo net for securing the load without further lashing. The specially designed box comes in a 2-tone white and black color scheme.

The Thule products are commended in the product testing for the flawless mounting operation, drivability, weather resistance and price. In all disciplines, the two Thule products have thoroughly impressed the testers. Editor Holger Ippen concludes: "The winner, above all, was the Thule Motion 800.
