Thule Motion 800 and Thule Excellence XT are Once Again Highest Ranked in Major German Roof Box Tests

The German motor organization ADAC and the automotive magazine auto motor und sport conducts tests on roof boxes in time for the winter season. Two Thule models were highest ranked in both tests. ADAC nominated the Thule Motion 800 as “best box” and auto motor und sport chose the Thule Excellence XT as the “best product”.

For four decades, Thule has been a pioneer in designing roof boxes, focusing on the most important characteristics in the segments: quality, safety and design. This is, once again, reinforced when Thule products are at the top of tests year after year.

ADAC, one of the most important test organizations in Germany, announced ‘Thule Motion 800’ as their test winner. The Thule Motion 800 impressed the jury with its good handling and safety. The jury also highlighted the special mounting system “PowerClick“ that indicates the optimal amount of torque to secure the spacious box.

Auto motor und sport announces the premium and sporty ‘Thule Excellence XT’ as their test winner. Innovative details like an integrated loading net, non-slip base mat and the crash nose lead the way to the first place in the test.
