Snowdonia Challenge by EMC

We have decided to dedicate our efforts to the Tree of Hope children’s charity to specifically support two children who are friends or relatives of our EMC colleagues.

Zakk, 3 years old from Ascot, was born with severe brain damage and since then has tragically been diagnosed with severe quad spastic cerebral palsy. He has numerous health issues including Gastric reflux, Epilepsy, visual impairment and development delay. His condition is also very painful as his muscles are tight and often go into spasm. He needs an operation to significantly reducing his suffering.

Hayden, 5 years old, has cerebral palsy diplegia meaning that he cannot stand or walk unaided and has very high and painful muscle tone. Hayden needs an operation called a Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy that will dramatically improve his condition by reducing muscle tension. Not only will this significantly reduce the physical pain that he constantly feels but also give him much more opportunity to play and interact with other children.

We’ve set up a just giving site and can I please encourage you to support our EMC teams by making a donation to such a very worthy cause.

Thank you.

James Petter, Murray Irvine, Matt Taylor, Nicky Foster, Andy Howard, Stewart Wilson, Steven Young, Stephen Bosarge, Nicholas Baxter, Mike Kiersey, Carl Tanner and Henk Van Oosten
