Mar 15, 2012 10:19 GMTPeter Bláha is recruited as the new CEO of Twingly. Now the company is focusing on strengthening their relationships with bloggers and on providing clear product offerings for the international market.
“It's great to get the chance to lead one of the most exciting social media companies,” says Peter Bláha, who now moves from Stockholm to Linköping with the family. “We will continue our international focus with our services for media, e-commerce and business intelligence. We will also strive to strengthen our relationships with all the amazing bloggers. With the purchase of Bloggportalen in the fall, we have a Swedish platform to build on to help blogs to find their readers.”

Niclas Heurlin, formerly CEO of inWarehouse and member of Twingly’s board for several years, is now taking over as Chairman of the Board. The former Chairman and one of the founders, Björn Milton, stays as a board member.
“Now we are focusing on Twingly to grow on an international market with distinct product offerings and tools that provide value to the bloggers,” says Niclas Heurlin. “Peter Bláha is the right person to lead this effort.”
Peter Bláha has previously been the Sales Manager at the data and telecommunications company IP-Only. He is also a member of Sweden’s national rugby team and participates as an actor in the current season of the TV show Gladiatorerna at TV4.
