Swedish Prime Minister discusses the opportunities and challenges facing an export company

The Swedish Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt visited Väderstad on 20 March, in what was the first visit by a Prime Minister in the 51-year history of the family-owned company. He took part in a discussion on the opportunities and challenges facing a Swedish export company.
Väderstad-Verken increased its turnover by 16 per cent in 2012, to SEK 2.1 billion. During the year, a total of 93 new members of staff were recruited, bringing the current total to almost one thousand, 800 of whom are based in Sweden. During 2012 Väderstad-Verken also invested strongly in a new parts centre and a sales subsidiary in Lithuania.
