The center stage of the Savonlinna Opera Festival is Olavinlinna Castle in central Savonlinna, on the shore of Finland's Grand Lake Saimaa. During the festival, pre-show dinner cruises are available, and the boat takes guests to the back entrance of Olavinlinna, providing a sneak peek backstage.
