#AskTheVSChief

VistScotland Expo takes place in two weeks, giving the industry the opportunity to engage and work with buyers and travel trade from around the globe.

When at Expo, I’m always keen to meet and talk with as many businesses and buyers as I can and like to be able to join up conversations that are happening around the exhibition room but by the very nature of the event, I can’t meet and greet everyone.

That’s why this year I’d like to trial an ‘Ask the Chief Executive’ style Twitter chat to field questions from industry and buyers at Expo as well as others who aren’t attending the show.

I’ll be taking over the VisitScotland Corporate Twitter channel (@visitscotnews) from 2pm until 2.45pm on Thursday 27 April. You can put questions to me ahead of the show on here, on Twitter with the hashtag #AskTheVSChief ahead of time or by emailing stewart.ross@visitscotland.com

To give you some food for thought, I’m keen to discuss how we can together be the best we can be. Digital skills and platforms are key topics for me and how best we are collaborating as an industry is vital. Innovative packaging of routes and partnerships like NC500 are also something I’m keen to hear more on as well as the future of our Themed Years, plus accessibility and sustainability in the industry.
