Fife gears up for summer tourism boost with Fife Five tourism campaign

Local and international visitors continue to flock to the Kingdom of Fife as the Fife Five tourism video campaign goes live in partnership with VisitScotland and Fife Council.

A series of short videos which showcase Fife’s beautiful scenery and attractions have launched to continue enticing strong visitor numbers to Fife. The theme of ‘Fife Five’ lists popular activities and sites to visit in the Kingdom, with added bonus content of upcoming events including the Ricoh Women’s Open Golf Championship in August.

According to The Moffat Centre’s most recent research, there are around three million visitors to Fife each year, bringing almost £439 million into the Kingdom’s economy.

Fife’s stunning landscape was the most cited attraction for visiting the region according to Visit Scotland’s most recent Visitor Survey, with the Kingdom also being voted top Outdoor Destination for eight consecutive years.

The Kingdom’s world-famous golf courses, delicious cuisine and stunning coastlines are among the top activities and sites to visit in the Kingdom. The video showcases include:

Fife Five places you won’t believe are in Fife

Visitors can witness a beautiful combination of countryside, coastline, landmarks, and nature fused together with views from the misty mountains of St Monans and the Northern Lights at certain times of year.

Fife Five Amazing Food with a View

From chocolate trails to award-winning ice cream parlours, Michelin starred dining restaurants to cafes, as well as great farm shops with local produce, visitors can enjoy traditional Scottish cuisine with stunning views.

Fife Five Golf Trails

The range of Fife’s world-famous golf courses from novice to professional can be easily accessed across the region, with something to suit every golfing ability.

Fife Tourism Partnership has had a key role in engaging businesses across Fife to support the tourism industry in the region. Ann Camus of Fife Tourism Partnership added: “The Fife Five campaign is a creative campaign which showcases the best of what Fife has to offer. The beautiful scenery and landscape remain firm favourites with both local and international visitors, and it’s not difficult to see why. Tourism across Fife will be at its peak over the summer months, and I have no doubt visitors will get a huge amount of enjoyment from the area and upcoming events.”
