Vision of Speed: Google Glass meets the Gumball Rally (Video)

The wildest parties, celebrity excess and exotic super cars is what defines the Gumball3000, the world’s most exclusive and notorious trans-continental car rally.

Marking it’s 15th anniversary, this year the Gumball3000 makes it’s way from Miami to Ibiza taking in New York, Edinburgh, London and Barcelona en route.


Team AnastasiaDate, consisting of a purple drop-top Lamborghini and two Russian super models, you would think are eye catching enough, but even more so through Google Glass, the first time in the world this wearable technology has given a true point-of-view of what it’s like to be a Gumballer through the pit-lane crowds.

VistaBee’s CEO Steve Reilly, one of the UK’s only Google Glass Explorers hitched a ride with Margarita Chuguyevskaya, famous back home in her native Russia for dancing with celebrities, whilst she wears a skin tight one piece racing suit which was inspired by the opening scene of the 1981 movie, The Cannonball Run.
