World's first Google Glass leather jacket, the ultimate wearable accessory [Video]

For those with the ultimate wearable accessory, VistaBee and Alexander Leathers have collaborated to create the worlds first Google Glass clothing accessory, a custom leather jacket designed specifically for Google Glass.

VistaBee, the UK’s leading video and photography production platform, has collaborated with Alexander Leathers, a Scottish company renowned for its custom leather jackets, more commonly worn by celebrities and the more discerning customer, to create a jacket to become the ultimate accessory for Google Glass.

The leather jacket, available in a limited production run of 99 pieces features a system for Google Glass to be placed within the jacket itself when entering places where privacy concerns may be an issue, such as restaurants or airport security. The wearable accessory also feature multiple pockets for headphone, clip on Glass sunglasses and most importantly a battery charger pack, with cable routing to match, alleviating one of the prototypes biggest complaints, battery life.

VistaBee, commission the jackets for it’s news and real estate “Bees” who are trialling creating digital content through Google Glass for brands such as Newsquest, DC Thomson and Telegraph and Zoopla Property Group but need somewhere to store their wearable equipment.
