Local Government and Communities Minister launches Financial Inclusion Website
Minister for Local Government and Communities, Carl Sargeant, AM launches a new website designed to provide the people of Wales with support in managing their money.
Moneymadeclearwales.org is a web based Financial Support Information Site, designed to increase the awareness and use of affordable credit, debt advice and money guidance services across Wales.
The website is divided into two parts. The first is a public facing website, which will give basic financial advice and guidance and also signpost users to experts, such as credit unions or debt advice services. It will help people manage their money better and has been designed to be easy to use, especially for those people not yet comfortable with using online resources.
Secondly, the website will provide a forum for organisations which support people to manage their money, helping them to share information, tools and resources as well as work more collaboratively.
The site has been put together using the knowledge of a number of different advice and support agencies to make it as accurate and accessible as possible.
This facility has been funded by the Welsh Government.
The Wales Co-operative Centre celebrates the launch of the site at an event at the Wallich, Cathedral Road Cardiff on Monday 21st January 2.30pm.

Registration is from 2.30pm and the event will start at 3.00pm, with refreshments served at 3.30pm.
