World Bank and IFC partners with the World Climate Summit

October 17, 2012 (London & Washington) - The World Bank, (www.worldbank.org) and the International Finance Corporation have joined as Institutional Partners of the World Climate Summit 2012, Doha, Qatar.

Sustainable development is fundamental to the World Bank Group's mission to reduce poverty. The World Bank Group's Sustainable Development Network works with policy makers, civil society and the private sector to address the impacts of climate change and encourage inclusive, green growth. The Bank, through the International Finance Corporation also offers business innovative climate smart solutions for mitigation, adaptation and inclusive development through targeted investments and advisory services across the developing world.
