Engineering consultant saves 67% on heating costs with green heating system

Red Hot Green, based in Killingworth in Newcastle, was instructed to install the intelligent heating system by S.V. Rutter Limited, who is now saving more than £7,000 a year with the new system.

The heating technology is new to the UK and works by emitting safe far infrared waves from stylish heating panels, replacing conventional radiators and convection heating in commercial and domestic premises.

Nigel Nieddu, Managing Director at Red Hot Green, said: ““We installed the heating panels throughout the 800 squared metre business centre with an intelligent heating system that is efficient and easy to use, meeting the specific temperature requirements for each of the nine office-rooms in the building.”

The panels are all individually wirelessly controlled which allows S.V. Rutter Limited to regulate the temperature for each room and maximise the amount of energy saved.

Tony Rutter, Director at S.V. Rutter, said: “We are delighted with the new system and the results have been remarkable. We are saving 67 per cent of our heating costs, which is equivalent to £7,000 a year. In addition, the panels don’t require any maintenance which drives costs down even further.”

The whole system was installed in the business centre over one weekend without any disruption to our tenants.
