RUSSIAN SMARTPHONE YOTAPHONE2 WILL ENTER THE LARGEST MARKET IN THE WORLD

Under the terms of the contract, Potevio will sell and implement marketing support for YOTAPHONE2 throughout China.

Potevio is among the three largest distributors of mobile electronics in China. In 2014, the volume of mobile phones sold by the company amounted to 36 million devices, and the annual turnover is close to 46 billion yuan ($7.3 billion).

Says Vladislav Martynov, CEO of Yota Company, "After the successful start of YOTAPHONE2 sales in 20 countries across Europe and the Middle East, we are beginning sales in China. The contract with Potevio is the start of YOTAPHONE2 sales throughout China in the first quarter of 2015. For the Chinese market, we created a special version of YOTAPHONE2 supporting local LTE frequencies. This version also includes a package of the most popular mobile applications in China and social networks localised and adapted for the second screen. In accordance with the plan of global expansion of YOTAPHONE2 on world markets, very soon we will begin sales in Latin and North America and Indonesia."
