​Q-Park launches Business Travel Card

Parking made easy for professionals on the go

Award-winning parking provider Q-Park has launched its new Business Travel Card service. Designed exclusively for businesses with roaming staff, the scheme will allow customers to access any UK Q-Park facility on a “pay-as-you-use” basis.

Unlike static season tickets which tie customers to one car park and involve monthly charges regardless of usage, Business Travel Card is a completely flexible solution that will help minimise company-wide parking expenses while reducing administrative burdens at the same time.

It is the perfect solution for mobile workforces, with professionals such as sales reps, contractors and engineers able to access any of Q-Park’s 60+ car parks without prior payment or planning as they move around the country.

Users simply tap in and out, and their stays are logged each time without the need for a paper ticket or receipt. Usage is then collated and invoiced monthly to the company directly, reducing the need for multiple individual expense claims and documentation. The bills are fully itemised and show the location, date, time and duration of each visit, as well as the identity of the user, so businesses can monitor usage centrally and make one easy payment.

With straightforward, ticketless access to parking and minimal admin required, roaming staff can be more productive and focus on the job in hand, while finance teams benefit from streamlined expenses and consistent reporting on usage and spend.

Customers can also make significant cost savings. Using the Business Travel Card gives companies discounted parking charges regardless of the number site visits made by its employees, and is part of Q-Park’s ongoing dedication to taking the hassle out of parking for the business sector.
