Anyone wishing to attend the EBLEX Marketing Conference next week is being urged to register with EBLEX as soon as possible, as there are only a limited number of places now available.

The conference, which will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on 3 July alongside the MEATUP exhibition, is EBLEX’s first marketing seminar at a major industry exhibition. Designed to highlight the work the levy body is doing to improve efficiency and profitability in the beef and lamb sectors, it will offer valuable insight from a number of key speakers.

Trends in the foodservice sector, trade and consumer marketing initiatives and opportunities in the export market will be just some of the topics covered during the event. A butchery demonstration will also showcase new beef and lamb cuts which are helping businesses to generate extra sales and profit. Guest speaker, Ed Garner from Kantar Worldpanel, will also give an overview of the current fresh meat market following the recent horse meat scandal.
