Alf Robertson has led Ramblers Walking Holidays for 21 years. He has travelled to some amazing destinations. A decade ago he led a tour in Corsica and finally got to return there last month, reminding him of what a glorious location it is. Alf will be leading our Ramblers Walking Holidays departures to Corsica on 20 May and 27 May when the spring flowers are at their best.

In July 2017, the Lake District became one of the latest places to become a UNESCO designated World Heritage Site, joining the likes of the Taj Mahal, the Great Barrier Reef and the Grand Canyon in the hall of international acclaim. Ramblers Walking Holidays tour leader Ray Philpotts and over 80 keen walkers congregated at a Shropshire railway station on 4th July to walk the first completed section of the Heart of Wales Line Trail, a major new long-distance route which will run 140-miles between rural railway stations on the scenic Heart of Wales Line linking Shrewsbury to South Wales when it is completed.
