Rochdale’s beauty expressed in pictures

The borough’s art lovers are being invited to view Rochdale through the eyes of an expressionist artist.

Artist and photographer John Cooke is exhibiting a wide range of work which celebrates the stunning beauty of the borough’s architecture at Hollingworth Lake Visitor, from now until Sunday 15 December.

In addition, from 1pm to 4 pm, on Sunday 24 November visitors to centre will also have the chance to meet the artist in person.

This free art exhibition, named ‘Rochdale Connexions’ will focus on work from the borough ranging from the old to the new with pictures from the historic Rochdale Town Hall to the award winning Number One Riverside.
